Winter Equestrian Festival

Watch the world’s finest horses and riders compete in show jumping and dressage beginning Jan. 10 at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington. The Winter Equestrian Festival will bring together a variety of riders from Olympians to children. (Ticket prices vary; pbiec.coth.com)

An Evening with Mozart 

Head to The Breakers on Jan. 4 as The Chamber Music Society of Palm Beach presents “An Evening with Mozart,” featuring the world-renowned Escher String Quartet. A private reception with the Quartet will take place in The Breakers’ Gold Room followed by an intimate performance. ($195; cmspb.org)

Save the Panther 5K 

Help protect our state’s animal, the Florida panther, during the first of 2018’s Big Cat Race Series with the Jan. 6 Save the Panther 5K at the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society. Funds will benefit the Florida Wildlife Corridor. (Ticket prices vary; palmbeachzoo.org)


For five days, mingle with world-renowned photographers and digital professionals during FOTOvision from Jan. 23 to 27 at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre. Professional and hobbyist photographers can attend workshops, informative lectures, panel discussions and more. Plus, the world premiere of Pulitzer Power, the back-stories of several Pulitzer Prize- winning photographers and their editors, will take place at the Waterfront. Textile Arts Show 

The first international textile arts show, Textile Meditations: Mary Fisher & Friends, will open Jan. 19 at the Armory Art Center and run through Feb. 10. Mary Fisher spearheaded the exhibition, which will feature a keynote speech in addition to two workshops. Exhibiting artists include Jan Beaney and Jean Littlejohn from London, and American artists Jane Dunnewold and Marsha Christo. (Ticket prices vary; armoryart.org) 


The 20th edition of ArtPalmBeach will take place from Jan. 18 to 21 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Guests can expect to see a contemporary and divergent showcase of painting, photography, sculpture and more. (Tickets from $15; nextlevelfairs.com/artpalmbeach
