Heart of the Ocean

Enjoy outstanding plates from land and sea at this chic Palm Beach Gardens restaurant.

Chef Gianluca Cadau and his wife, Danielle Foster-Cadau, set out to open a restaurant that’s different from their Tequesta eatery, Tiramisù Ristorante Italiano. The idea was simple—design a space where guests can enjoy a contemporary dining experience, serving delicious cuisine with a New American twist. With partners Luigi Indovino and Antonella Indovino of Divino Ristorante Italiano, the idea became a reality in November.

The end result is Blue Marlin Grille located at the Shoppes of Oakbrook in Palm Beach Gardens. It’s a step into fine dining with dishes that are just as beautiful as the restaurant’s interior. Dark wood serves as the main backdrop, paired with crisp, white table settings and upholstered booth and lounge chairs, adding a level of sophistication welcoming for guests.

The mounted marlin fish, seascape artwork and mother of pearl shell chandeliers might give away that Blue Marlin Grille is serious about seafood—but that’s not all.

What’s For Dinner?

Sit down at the large bar or high tops for a house-made blackberry bellini or rasmopolitan cocktail and enjoy happy hour specials from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Dine on bar bites such as the spicy sriracha avocado bruschetta or house made rosemary potato chips with Gorgonzola cheese before heading to the dining room for dinner.

The main menu offers guests the option to choose entrees under the “From the Land” or “From the Sea” categories. Enjoy plates complete with organic vegetables, fresh fish and quality ingredients. For the seafood lover, try the pistachio-encrusted snapper (pan-seared and topped with toasted pistachio in a light lemon cream sauce), classic paella or linguini del mar. “From the Land” plates include the orange gremolata veal osso buco, plus certified angus steaks, herb encrusted racks of lamb, and more.

The restaurant also serves a sunset three-course dinner from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. when guests can choose a soup or salad, an entree with potato and vegetable du jour, plus dessert.
