Busch Wildlife Sanctuary Celebrates 40 Years

In addition to prepping for a move to Jupiter Farms, the sanctuary is celebrating four decades of caring for our area's vulnerable wildlife

Busch Wildlife Sanctuary has more than one milestone to celebrate this year. Along with its move to Jupiter Farms, the nonprofit is commemorating its fortieth anniversary of caring for our area’s vulnerable wildlife. Since its founding in 1983, the sanctuary has admitted more than 570 native species.

The generations of families who have visited the sanctuary have witnessed firsthand the importance of environmental education and the impact the community has had on the growth of the facility. Now entering its forth decade, Busch Wildlife will move to a new, larger campus in west Jupiter.

To celebrate the occasion, fans of the sanctuary can purchase limited edition fortieth anniversary apparel. Proceeds will benefit the sanctuary’s around-the-clock care for sick, orphaned, and injured wildlife. Click here to check out the selection.

The sanctuary is open for self-guided tours, as well as private tours led by staff, Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
