About Charity: The Lumen Christi Scholarship Gala is the bishop’s annual black-tie dinner dance benefiting and celebrating diocesan Catholic schools, both elementary and secondary. The Catholic schools in the Diocese of Palm Beach provide for the education and formation of more than 6,000 students throughout the diocese’s five counties, including Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Indian River. The Diocese of Palm Beach allocates 100 percent of the net proceeds of the Lumen Christi Gala to tuition scholarships, shared equally among the schools, enabling hundreds of students to attend Catholic schools.

About Charity: The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. We provide women with one full outfit when they are interviewing and a full week’s worth of clothing once they are hired. We also offer several job readiness programs to help further ensure employability. Volunteer opportunities include personal shoppers, administrative assistance, coaching and mentoring and inventory control assistance. Group volunteer opportunities are available upon request. Donations of work appropriate purses and shoes are most appreciated.
