Dr. Sujal Shah was born and raised in Chicago. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and his medical education at Rush University Medical School.
After medical school, Dr. Shah completed his internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at Tulane University Hospital and Clinics in New Orleans. Before joining Tampa General Hospital and the Cancer Center of South Florida, Dr. Shah was an assistant professor of medicine at The University of Texas at Austin and an associate instructor of clinical medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
Dr. Shah is currently seeing patients with all types of cancers and focuses on lung and head/neck. He has staff privileges at JFK Medical Center, Jupiter Medical Center, and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.
He and his wife have one son. In Dr. Shah’s free time, he enjoys running, snowboarding, traveling, and being a father.
