    Stephen M. Quinnan is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and leading innovator in his field. He has an exceptional background including medical education at Columbia University in New York City and fellowship training in both orthopedic trauma at the world-renowned Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as limb lengthening and deformity correction at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Australia. He then practiced for 12 years at the University of Miami/Ryder Trauma Center where he served as Chief of Orthopedic Trauma Surgery before joining the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute.

    Dr. Quinnan has invented and published multiple groundbreaking surgical treatments in the areas of limb reconstruction and deformity correction, pelvic and hip reconstruction, severe fracture treatment, and post-traumatic reconstruction. These advances have not only improved the lives of many patients but have also set new standards for what is possible in limb and pelvic reconstruction.

    Dr. Quinnan provides the highest level of fracture care for both the lower and upper extremities, especially for highenergy severe injuries. He also specializes in limb and joint preservation and joint replacement surgery, complex pelvic and acetabulum reconstruction, treatment of fracture nonunion and malunion, limb lengthening, correction of limb deformity and malalignment, treatment of lower and upper extremity bone loss, 3D custom solutions, and treatment of osteomyelitis. Dr. Quinnan also specializes in amputee reconstruction including osseointegration for amputees, targeted muscle reinnervation, and residuum lengthening. He is currently the only active member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association in Palm Beach County.
