The Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta will get into the festive spirit with the unveiling of a holiday art extravaganza December 7-16.

The festivities kick off with an opening reception for two exhibitions, “Deck the Walls” and “Lighthouse ArtCenter Faculty Vernissage,” on December 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. “Deck the Walls” is a community art show and sale that features 8-inch by 8-inch canvas artworks created by local artists and aspiring talents. These pieces are perfect holiday gifts for the creative gift-giver seeking unique treasures.

“Lighthouse ArtCenter Faculty Vernissage” is a sneak peek at the latest artwork by the  Lighthouse ArtCenter’s talented faculty members. Explore the newest creations from beloved instructors and even sign up for upcoming classes.

In addition to the large selection of art, guests can enjoy live faculty demonstrations, such as painting by Ralph Papa, photography by Bob Gibson, paper mache by Chad Steve, 3D printing by Ron Shaw, glass by Carolyn Austin, and jewelry by Lisa Johnson. Refreshments and light bites will be served. Admission is free to the gallery for members and a $5 suggested donation for nonmembers.

Shop creations by esteemed faculty and their students at Lighthouse ArtCenter’s annual Holiday Sale, returning December 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
