Five Ways to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

For the Family

If you’re celebrating Mexico’s independence day with the whole family, look no further than Downtown at the Gardens. Get your face painted with the kids and let them ride the carousel while you sip your margarita. Cabo Flats will offer live music, face painting and giveaways starting at 3 p.m. along with happy hour.  Cabo Flats, 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Ave., Palm Beach Gardens;

For the Earlybird

If you expect your Cinco de Mayo celebration to last all day, then stop by any one of La Bamba’s South Florida locations. Margarita and tequila specials start at 11:30 a.m. and will continue until 10:30 p.m. La Bamba Mexican & Spanish Restaurant, multiple locations;

For the Dancer

If your Cinco de Mayo celebration will include the #tequiladance, then you’ll want to celebrate at Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar.  Drink specials and giveaways start at noon, and DJs and bands will play all day. Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar, multiple locations;

For the Curious

Many people can contribute new experiences to Cinco de Mayo, and Cantina Laredo is the perfect place to try something new this Tuesday. Two new drinks, the Cinco ‘Rita and the Cinco Reposado ‘Rita, will be on the menu as well as $3 quesadillas and $2 tamales. Those in attendance will also find piñata games, a DJ and the ESPN Street Team. If you’re feeling philanthropic, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction will benefit the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County. Cantina Laredo, 4635 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens;

For the Humanitarian
