Hampton Forks Kitchen & Table Hosting Grand Opening of its New Storefront

Hampton Forks Kitchen & Table will be hosting the grand opening of its storefront from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19. If complimentary hors d’oeuvres and craft beer from Twisted Trunk Brewing sound good, just wait until you hear what they’ll be serving up on a daily basis.

The business, which has been operating as a specialty gourmet catering service, will offer a changing menu of sandwiches, roasted meats, fish, charcuterie, artisan cheeses, salads and side dishes.

Best of all? The ingredients are locally grown and sourced — and that’s something that’s very important to chef and owner Chris Marshall.

“It is a passion of mine to promote the artists that grow, raise and catch our food,” he says. “We give great thought and research to sourcing and selecting our vendor partners, many of which I have used for many years.”

Looking to pay a visit, but not quite sure what to order? Come on a Friday and ask for the fresh-shelled Maine Lobster roll, Marshall says. The lobsters are shipped overnight from Portland, Maine.

And in case there’s any confusion, that means “[they’re] caught in the Bay of Maine, not Canada, not Long Island and yes there’s a frickn difference,” the restaurant writes on Facebook.

Marshall began his career in Boston and moved to Jupiter in 1998. He has taken a special liking to the tranquility his new home has to offer.

“Jupiter is beautiful and quiet compared to [locales] to the South of us,” he says. “Jupiter is also small compared to [West Palm Beach] so I find there is less ‘white noise’ to obscure the voices of those of us dedicated to our craft.”
