There’s a new spot in town to peruse local goods: JoJo’s Farmers Market at Carlin Park in Jupiter. Founder Riley Burns created a new community gathering place out of a desire to help others. In 2006, her mother, Joanna, passed away from lung cancer, which prompted Burns to pursue pre-med at Florida Atlantic University. She later decided that Western medicine wasn’t her calling and began adopting a holistic lifestyle. “I found myself in a little bit of a crisis, and that’s when I became a yoga teacher and found that path of healing for myself,” says the 23-year-old, who is also a certified fitness manager at Orangetheory and a hot vinyasa yoga instructor.

Jojo's Market at Carlin Park in JupiterBurns works alongside friend Aliza Russell to host the monthly green markets, which will be ongoing throughout the year. Guests can expect to meet upward of 75 vendors offering everything from CBD tinctures to all-natural cleaning products to homegrown produce. The market begins at 9 a.m. and includes by-donation boot camp and yoga classes. This month, you can check out JoJo’s October 23.
