A local hotel just got a major shout-out.
The destination property snagged the No. 8 spot on the list, which also included nearby resorts Eau Palm Beach (No. 1) and Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa (No. 4).
The 168-room resort expressed its excitement via social media posting, “Everything we do, we do for guests like you! Thank you for voting and bringing us this honor.”
South Florida properties dominated the list, with hotels in Miami and Fort Lauderdale also making an appearance among the top contenders.
To come up with the results from its annual survey, the staff at Conde Nast Traveler sorted through millions of ratings from more than 300,000 readers—a record for the publication. Voting ran from April 1 to July 1, 2016.
The extensive awards highlight the best hotels, cities, airlines, cruise lines and more in the United States and around the world.
