The Eleventh Annual Live Like Jake 5K will return to downtown Abacoa, kicking off National Water Safety Month and featuring a “Wear Bright, Stay in Sight” theme, April 26. The event will welcome more than 1,000 runners and their families raising funds to support the foundation’s childhood drowning prevention and care.
The morning also includes a KidsZone with kidStrong obstacle course and face painting; a bicycle giveaway raffle by J Town Bikes; a free post-race beer for all runners from Stadium Grill; awards ceremony; sponsor booth giveaways; and more.
Registration kicks off at 6:15 a.m., and the race takes place from 7 to 8:30 a.m.
