Loggerhead Marinelife Center received a grant from the Admirals Cove Foundation to continue educating more than 3,000 local students, families, and community members on marine life and ocean conservation.

The grant will continue to support Loggerhead’s Education Outreach Vehicle, which has expanded learning opportunities across northern Palm Beach County by bringing interactive educational programs to schools and community centers, especially in underserved communities.

This year, an estimated 3,800 people will be reached through the Education Outreach Vehicle, which was purchased with support from an Admirals Cove Foundation grant last year. The foundation’s continued support will help bring ocean education to several community events in Jupiter, fostering a connection to sea turtles and their coastal habitats. Funding will also provide shuttle services for families in underserved communities to enjoy the center’s signature educational events.
