Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is seeking volunteers who are passionate about marine life and can support the center’s sea turtle recovery, ocean conservation, and education programs.
The center hosts numerous community events and programs, which all rely on volunteer support. Volunteer positions include assisting in education and conservation programs, providing customer service in the gift shop, working at the Juno Beach Pier, and supporting the veterinary team. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and work a minimum of one, three-and-a-half-hour shift per week over the course of six months.
Volunteers receive access to exclusive sea turtle experiences; continued education through mission-aligned training lectures and classes; awards and appreciation events; discounts at the center’s gift store, as well as on summer camps and visitor experiences; and discounts on scuba certifications, boat fees, and rental gear.
Applications are available at marinelife.org/volunteer. Applicants will be contacted about open positions, with additional training provided. Recruitment will be ongoing through October 31, or until positions are filled.
