Aaron's Table & Wine Bar From Mar-a-Lago Club's Aaron Fuller Is Now Open In Abacoa

Jupiter diners can now pull up a seat at Aaron's Table.

The new Aaron's Table & Wine Bar from Mar-a-Lago Club's food and beverage director, Aaron Fuller, has opened in Downtown Abacoa. Making its dinner debut on Saturday, Nov. 5, the restaurant has taken over the former Rooney's Public House space.

Chef Fuller, who lives in the Abacoa area with his family, told Jupiter Magazine this summer that he wanted to open a top-notch eatery that locals would embrace.

"I thought, 'I don't want a Chili's to go in there, some big chain restaurant,'" he said. "I wanted it to be somewhere my wife and I would go, where hopefully the people in the community want to go."

Aaron's Table offers a seasonal menu of farm-fresh small plates, bar bites, homemade pastas, seafood and braised meats—all prepared by chef de cuisine Marc Cela. The decor is farmhouse-chic with leather banquettes, a pewter bar, chalkboards with daily specials and even picnic tables.

The restaurant is named for a central chef's table that seats six to eight people. The private dining area—located at the front of the restaurant in a semi-enclosed window space surrounded by wine bottles—will be used to host special events and gatherings, wine tastings, five-course tasting menu experiences and more.

Menu highlights include bar bites such as deviled eggs ($5) and avocado fries with chipotle aioli ($7); jarred appetizers like watermelon, feta and mint salad ($8) or basil couscous with feta, olives and tzatziki ($7); and seasonal entrees ($21-$36) ranging from Chianti wine-braised veal cheeks to roasted Long Island duck.

Finally, desserts will include molten chocolate cake, baked Alaska flambéed tableside, and the chef's favorite bread pudding recipe, plus jarred desserts like chocolate mousse and raspberry sorbet. (The mason jar starters and desserts are a special hat-tip to Fuller's mother, who jarred her own jams and jellies when he was a kid.)

“Preparing meals and taking care of people are my passions, and Aaron’s Table is an extension of my own kitchen and family," Fuller said in a statement. "I think this community is starving for a new experience that focuses on fresh, interesting and high-quality dishes without having to travel too far from home.”

The restaurant's wine bar will let guests explore an extensive, high-caliber selection of wines by the glass, with up to 20 varieties of red, white and sparkling wines that can be stored in nitrogen-contained wine dispensers to preserve them at the right temperature.

On Thursday nights, Aaron's will host wine tastings with guest sommeliers so that locals can sample varietals from regions around the world and enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Live musical entertainment will also be offered on Fridays, starting with Philippe Harari during the Veterans Day kickoff on Nov. 11.

The restaurant is open for dinner from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Lunch and brunch service will be offered later on.
