Jupiter, let's light up the night with some holiday cheer.

Locals can kick off the holiday season with Harbourside Place's second annual tree lighting ceremony this weekend. The free community event will take place Saturday, Nov. 19, beginning at 6 p.m.

To ring in the holiday spirit, a dozen school and community groups, including Maltz Jupiter Theater, Jupiter Middle School and Keep Flippin’ Gymnastics, will be performing at the amphitheater throughout the night.

Guests can also take photos with Santa Claus, play holiday games, participate in arts and crafts, and more.

Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy or gift card for Little Smiles’ North Pole Toy Drive.
