Palm Beach North Launches To Unite 10 Communities From Riviera Beach To Tequesta
The cities, towns and villages of northern Palm Beach County now have a new name: Palm Beach North.
The network of 10 municipalities officially launched as Palm Beach North on Tuesday, with the aim of spurring economic growth in the region.
The municipalities considered part of Palm Beach North are Juno Beach, Jupiter, Jupiter Inlet Colony, Lake Park, Mangonia Park, North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach Shores/Singer Island, Riviera Beach and Tequesta. Under the unified Palm Beach North brand, these communities could collaborate to attract business and tourism.
To contrast itself with more densely populated areas of Palm Beach County, Palm Beach North is hoping to emphasize the region's blend of business growth with its distinct eco-friendly lifestyle. It has also dubbed the northern Palm Beach County corridor "Florida's Prosperity Coast."
In fact, the newly launched Palm Beach North website highlights the area's "year-round summer climate and active outdoor lifestyle, harmonious government and business partnerships, and ample business sites within a wide price range."
The movement was spearheaded by an independent steering committee formed by the Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. A Fort Lauderdale firm helped the committee develop the new brand, according to WPTV.
Going forward, the steering committee will begin implementing a marketing strategy for Palm Beach North. Discover the Palm Beaches, the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, and Enterprise Florida are expected to offer advice and suggestions.
