Bolay In Palm Beach Gardens Lets You Build Your Own Food Bowl Packed With Healthy Ingredients
A new fast-causal restaurant coming to Palm Beach Gardens will make eating right quick and easy for health-conscious diners who are always on the go.
Bolay, a build-your-own food bowl concept, is scheduled to open its second location, on Northlake Boulevard, Oct. 29.
UPDATE: Bolay opened to the public on Friday, Nov. 4.
Founder Chris Gannon, who is also the son of Outback co-founder Tim Gannon, says he is thrilled to be bringing his gluten-free, nutrient-rich bowls to Palm Beach Gardens.
“We really pride ourselves in knowing that people’s time these days is very valuable,” said Gannon, whose first Bolay location opened in Wellington earlier this year. “People don’t have the time to sit down and eat at a restaurant and spend 45 minutes to an hour during the day, so here we give you that same quality meal in a much quicker fashion.”
Each customer is able to build a custom bowl by choosing from a variety of proteins and locally sourced sides.
Bases for the bowls include gluten-free cilantro noodles, Peruvian quinoa and marinated kale and currant salad. Customers can also choose to add on vegetables like roasted Brussels sprouts, smoky cauliflower and maple-roasted butternut squash. Protein additions range from ponzu tuna to tofu. An assortment of sauces and sides can also be added to complete the custom bowls.
Bolay will also offer a selection of its gluten-free desserts, including the chocolate mousse and a peanut butter poppy crème, as well as a variety of cold-pressed juices.
“People always find [the juices] very exciting and different. We make them in-house every day, and each juice has about seven to eight pounds of produce in there fresh,” said Gannon.
Bolay recently launched an online ordering portal, so guests can skip the line and be in and out with their meal in a matter of minutes. Catering services are also available throughout the Jupiter area and can be located at eatbolay.com.
A third Bolay location is slated to open in Boca Raton in December.
The Palm Beach Gardens restaurant will open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
