1270

Run along scenic A1A in Juno Beach in honor of ocean conservation at Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s sixth annual Run 4 The Sea.

The benefit race, presented by Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, includes a 4-mile run for adults, which starts at 7 a.m., and a kids’ fun run, beginning at 8:15 a.m. Parents can run with their child during the kid’s fun run at no additional fee.

The event will also include a virtual run, making it easy for sea turtle fans everywhere to run for the sea.

After the race there will be a premium breakfast service, unique vendors, interactive kids’ activities, a DJ and announcements of the winners.

Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female racers, top master male and female racers and top three males and females in 13 different age groups. Winners from each category will be awarded sea turtle trophies, and all race participants will receive finisher medals.

Registration is $40 for the adult run and $10 for the kids’ fun run. Racers in the 4-miler, including virtual runners, will receive a T-shirt and custom finisher medal. Children participating in the fun run will receive a child’s T-shirt and medal.

Check in for runners opens at 6:15 a.m. the day of the race, with packet pick up being held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at LMC on June 16.

Free parking will be available in Loggerhead Park the day of the race, and overflow parking and trolley services at Juno Beach Pier Park will also be available.

All proceeds benefit Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s mission of sea turtle and ocean conservation. For more information, or to register for the race, visit marinelife.org/run. If you are interested in volunteering, email Veronica at vclinton@marinelife.org
