Parm, a Little Italy fan-favorite for Italian-American comfort food, is expanding into Florida with its first location at Downtown Palm Beach Gardens this winter. The 5,000 square-foot restaurant is part of Major Food Group (MFG) operations and will be positioned near the new lakeside location for Downtown’s popular carousel, in Suite 3115.
MFG has created some of the world’s most sought-after restaurants, including Carbone and Sadelle’s. Parm is the organization’s latest South Florida opening, after establishing roots in the region in early 2021 with Carbone and ZZ’s Club in Miami, and The Flamingo Grill at the recently relaunched luxury hotel and resort The Boca Raton.
“We are excited to have one of New York City’s best Italian restaurants come to Downtown Palm Beach Gardens,” said Alexis Brock, Regional Marketing Manager for ShopCore Properties, owners and managing entity of Downtown Palm Beach Gardens. “Major Food Group is known for its top-notch restaurants and as we continue to redevelop the center, Parm will be a perfect addition to our already diverse restaurant lineup.”
Michelin-starred chefs and owners Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick conceived the Parm menu by drawing inspiration from the food they ate growing up in New York City. Among its classic dishes are chicken parmesan, homemade meatballs, bright salads, and a famed lineup of sandwiches ranging from the Italian combo and chicken caprese to the spicy avocado and house turkey. Newsweek named Parm one of the 101 Best Places to Eat in North America. In a rave, the New York Times wrote that the restaurant’s approach to Italian standards is “completely faithful to your memories while being much, much better than you remember.”
Palm Beach Gardens will be the fifth Parm location in operation, following four outposts in the Northeastern United States.
