In honor of International Women’s Day, Palm Beach Outlets will team up with Dress for Success Palm Beaches to host a Purses & Pumps Donation Drive from Monday, March 8, through Sunday, March 14. New or gently used purses and women’s professional shoes including flats and modest heels (no mules, stilettos, or sandals please) can be dropped in the Dress for Success collection bins located in Saks OFF 5TH, Ann Taylor Factory Store, and Steve Madden. Since April 2010 Dress for Success Palm Beaches has served more than 5,000 women in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Hendry, and northern Broward Counties as they work toward economic self-sufficiency. Best known for its “suiting” program, Dress for Success also provides job readiness programs, a career resource center, and a professional women’s networking association dedicated to ongoing career development. The local chapter is part of a global organization that has expanded to more than 145 affiliates in 25 countries.
