Ocean and sea turtle conservation do not stop–not even for COVID-19. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center‘s ninth annual Run 4 The Sea will take place in the digital sphere on Saturday, June 20. The timed-four mile race is open to all runners, joggers, and walkers and can be started on participants’ own time from anywhere. A one-mile race is also available to children 13 years old and younger who want to join in on the fun.

Proceeds from the virtual Run 4 The Sea support the center’s mission to preserve Florida’s precious oceanic ecosystems and wildlife and educate people of all ages about marine conservation. Runners can submit their run times through Sunday, June 21, to be entered to receive finisher medals and participation t-shirt. Participants can register here.
