Lego Takeover: Life-Sized Lego Creations Will Be Taking Over The Gardens Mall

Also on Digital Edition

All the pieces will fall into place this month at Lego Takeover! at The Gardens Mall.

From April 28 through May 15, visitors can admire nearly 50 life-sized depictions of some of their favorite characters—Captain America, Wonder Woman, Ninjago friends, Disney princesses and more—all made entirely of Lego bricks. The display, which will be spread across the Palm Beach Gardens shopping mall, also includes a dedicated space at Nordstrom Court, where imaginative kids (and adults!) can construct their own creations to go in the Lego Art Gallery.

Sure, the exhibit is all about promoting fun and games, but it’s also a testament to the hard work put in by the artists behind the impressive figures. The Lego master responsible for building Batman, for example, put in 340 hours of production time into the piece, which is built from 54,000 bricks. Now that’s a job that takes some patience!
