More than 100 guests attended the launch of Scripps Research’s Women in Science Education (WISE) initiative on December 3. The program is designed to encourage more women to pursue science education and careers by enabling a permanent student endowment at its Skaggs Graduate School of Chemical and Biological Sciences.
