South Florida Garlic Fest Will Be Featured On Cooking Channel’s ‘Carnival Eats’

1235

The 19th annual South Florida Garlic Fest is heading into the national spotlight.

The Cooking Channel’s “Carnival Eats” has selected the food festival to be featured on its sixth season, premiering on TV in the spring.

“Carnival Eats” showcases culinary creations around the country, and lucky festival-goers will have the chance to be interviewed by host Noah Cappe. The “Carnival Eats” crew will be at South Florida Garlic Fest on Feb. 10 and 11.

The festival itself will be held from Feb. 9-11 at John Prince Park in Lake Worth, and will feature delicious food (with garlic, of course), two stages for live entertainment, amusement rides and games and a healthy kids cooking competition, featuring Jupiter Middle School Culinary Academy.

Foodies will be able to enjoy pizza, nachos, crab cakes, burgers, conch fritters, ice cream, sandwiches and more.

The main stage entertainment will include performances by Fabulous Fleetwoods, Hoobastank, Stick Figure and Mary Gaines Bernard, the sister of Donna Summer.
