Stage Kitchen in Palm Beach Gardens will host a Wine Pairing Dinner on Thursday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m. in support of The Selective Mutism Research Institute, an organization dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of the disorder through education, advanced training, and research into the early diagnosis and treatment of Selective Mutism.
The cause is near and dear to the evening’s host, chef Pushkar Marathe. Marathe’s son, Toyam, suffers from Selective Mutism. The Stage Kitchen team’s goal is to help raise awareness about the condition so that children receive early and correct diagnoses and care, which can make a crucial difference in a child’s academic trajectory and social communication skills.
Tickets cost $180 and include a welcome cocktail and the five-course wine pairing experience. Purchase tickets for the dinner here.
