Holidays got the best of you? Kickstart the New Year with a resolution to pamper yourself—and get started now by booking one of these special winter-themed treatments at area spas.

Whether you need a hot toddy for your body, a peppermint-y pedicure, or a holly berry facial, spas across the Palm Beaches and Broward County have you covered.

1. Spa Q at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Through January 31, 2019, Spa Q at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is offering a treat to perk up your winter-dulled senses: the Peppermint Mocha Scrub. Even better than the irresistible scent, the scrub is a collaboration with downtown Fort Lauderdale coffee shop Café Collective, so it’s all-natural, made with the coffee grounds from the café—plus cocoa powder and peppermint essential oil. Anyone who purchases the treatment will enjoy a complimentary cup of joe at Café Collective. The scrub can be booked as a standalone service or an enhancement to other treatments, such as the Essential Massage or Essential Facial.

Paul Labrecque Salon and Spa, located at the recently revitalized Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach, is offering the Environ Ice Facial ($190 for 60 minutes) to soothe, smooth and tighten your ho-hum winter skin. The “skin icing” facial, which is based on a hyper-customized treatment without the use of heat, uses “iced” stainless steel Cryo-Sticks and is said to result in visibly tighter pores and a smoother, more even skin tone. The cooling technique also helps to activate the skin’s ability to regenerate its deeper structures to combat the signs of premature aging.

3. Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach

Longing for summer, with its endless sunny days and super-hydrated air? There’s a winter spa treatment at Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach with your name on it. The Endless Summer Facial ($69 for 30 minutes), a rejuvenating facial mask and massage paired with a gemstone infusion that’s targeted to help treat “winter skin,” promises to reveal your inner glow while refreshing and restoring your skin.

No need to worry about breaking your health-conscious New Year’s resolution: the S’mores Indulgence Facial ($130 for 50 minutes) at The Opal Spa at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa, available until Feb. 28, sounds delicious but won’t add an inch to your waistline. The indulgent facial combines a marshmallow whipped hydrating mask with a Hershey coco enzyme mask to heal the skin and add a protective barrier between you and the harsh winter air.

5. The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale

The Holly Beauty Facial ($149 for 50 minutes) at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale spa is a seasonal facial that utilizes grape-derived antioxidants and green tea to soothe the dryness and redness that’s often associated with the winter season’s effect on the skin. Available through the end of January, the facial also helps to remove dead skin cells, deeply hydrate the skin and fade the age spots you may have garnered by spending a little too much time in the bright Florida sun.

6. Bella Reina Spa

The hydrating Red Clover Radiance Re-Boot ($79 for 30 minutes) at Bella Reina Spa is the ideal lunchtime facial, with a Vitamin C infusion with copper activation to gently exfoliate and red clover flower to boost your hyaluronic acid levels. Or, treat your feet: opt for the Peppermint Foot Reflexology Treatment ($88 for 40 minutes) to reinvigorate your senses with a minty massage, reflexology, warm clay mask and an upper-shoulder and neck massage, or spring for the Holistic Winter Pedi Ritual ($97 for 75 minutes) to recharge your tired legs with a detoxifying holistic color-changing mud followed by the application of a vegan nail lacquer.

7. Pure Spa at Pelican Grand Beach Resort

The Winter Wonderland Serenity Package is a 2.5-hour experience comprised of an 80-minute white chocolate body scrub and massage followed by a peppermint spa pedicure. Alternatively, the 2-hour Silent Night treatment (also available as a couples package) begins with an aroma bath ritual and ends with an 80-minute Pure You Massage, with 25 minutes focused just on the scalp. Or, book the New Year, New You package for a 50-minute Pure You Massage and a brightening Signature HydraFacial treatment that’s sure to help you accomplish all of your New Year’s resolutions.

SiSpa at Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa has rolled out a series of winter services (all $119) that focus on getting mind and body in the right place for a New Year. The 50-minute Winter Rescue Treatment, ideal for anyone recovering from seasonal allergies or chest complaints, clears the sinuses with an upper-body treatment and Ayurvedic scalp massage that incorporates eucalyptus, tea tree and pine essential oils to decongest and boost the body’s immune system.

The 75-minute Winter Wonderland Manicure & Pedicure features a deep detox ritual mask and warm stones, while the 50-minute Si Ageless & Precious Amethysts Facial uses potent botanicals and natural antioxidants from Jurlique to deeply cleanse the skin, exfoliate and reveal a brighter complexion using a calming amethyst stone massage. The spa specials are valid through February; guests looking to pair their treatments with an overnight stay can book the Journey to SiSpa package, which provides condo-style suite accommodations and two 50-minute spa treatments per stay.
