Jupiter Police Department donation and shred event

The Jupiter Police Department will host community outreach events this summer. The season kicked off with the department’s Fill-the-Truck Clothing Drive and Drive-Thru Shred event on July 24. The clothing drive provides new school uniforms for local elementary school students in need, while the shred event gave Jupiter residents the opportunity to discard old documents safely. Residents can donate clothes through July 30 at the Jupiter Police Station (196 Military Trail).

The fun will continue with the Jupiter Police Department’s Night Out Against Crime Parade on Tuesday, August 3, beginning at 6 p.m. More than 30 police vehicles and fire trucks will drive around Jupiter in honor of crime awareness and drug abuse prevention. The event will also serve as a collection event for the Little Smiles Holiday Toy Drive. Learn more here.

Coffee with a Cup will round out the month on Thursday, August 12, from 9 to 10 a.m. Guests are welcome to join officers at Dunkin (131 Alt A1A) in the Concourse Village Shopping Center for a meet-and-greet and complimentary coffee. Registration is not required. Learn more here.
