Jupiter native, television personality, and philanthropist Tyler Cameron will return to his roots and host the inaugural gala for The Andrea C. Cameron Foundation on September 22 at Lessing’s Hospitality Group’s Pelican Club in Jupiter.
Tyler and his two brothers, Austin and Ryan, created the foundation to honor their mother, Andrea Cameron, who passed away unexpectedly in 2020. To continue Andrea’s passion for philanthropy, the foundation awards scholarships to help high school graduates pursue technical or college educations, as well as serve the local community—just as Andrea did.
“Over the past two years, I’ve realized what’s most important, and that’s my family and the community I grew up in,” said Tyler, founder and a board member of The Andrea C. Cameron Foundation. “We want to help students and parents the way that she helped us. She felt that it was important for her three sons to get a college education. She was our fiercest supporter; she always had our backs. We want our mother’s legacy to continue helping and supporting others to achieve their dreams.”
He hopes the gala will bring together the community in support of a great cause: To ensure students achieve their full potential and to help change the world.
The black-tie gala includes a silent auction, a live auction, dinner, and dancing. Tickets are $500 per person, and all proceeds support the foundation. The owners of the Pelican Club, Lessing’s Hospitality Group, are thrilled to support the foundation by hosting the event. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse will take center stage with stunning waterfront views.
