The Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade Is Right Around The Corner, And We Can Hardly Wait

The holidays are right around the corner, and that can only mean one thing: It’s time for the 21st annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade and 16th annual “On the Water” Toys for Tots Drive.

The festivities kick off Saturday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m.

The parade will begin at the north end of the Lake Worth Lagoon in North Palm Beach and proceed down the Intracoastal Waterway to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. A traveling fireworks display will light up the night sky along the route. A grand finale, courtesy of Square Grouper Tiki Bar and U-Tiki, will be held at the Lighthouse.

Attendees can sit back, relax and watch the parade pass by at popular viewing locations like Juno Park, Bert Winters Park and Sawfish Bay Park.

Boats will be judged by local officials and community leaders at the North Palm Beach Marina. Judges are looking at lights, enthusiasm and the overall effect of the decorations.

The Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade benefits the U.S. Marine Reserve’s Toys for Tots program. Last year, the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County collected about 10,000 toys for the less fortunate in Palm Beach County. Toy donations can be dropped off at locations across town (listed here), or bring them to the parade and they will be picked up dockside during the festivities.
