Exactly how much does it cost to live in one of the most luxurious homes on Jupiter Island? Oh, just a humble $38 million.

John Malone, billionaire and chairman of Liberty Media Corp., is now the proud owner of a nearly 11,800-square-foot estate formerly owned by German toy-maker Horst Brandstätter. Brokerage firm Engel & Völkers Jupiter announced the sale of the property Friday. It was the most expensive sale on Jupiter Island, according to a rep for the company.

In addition to the 8,438-square-foot-main house, the 9.4-acre lot includes a 2,700-square-foot guest house and a 7,500-square-foot beach house. The home is endowed with views of both the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, with over 500 feet of private coastline on both shores.

If you can’t get enough of the ocean but still want to be in the comfort of air conditioning, the living room will rotate for you so that you get the full Jupiter Island view without leaving your couch.

The home isn’t just for the saltwater lover, either—a resort-style infinity pool and a spa complete the deck area. There’s also a par-three putting green, a boat dock and a six-car garage.
