Two of Palm Beach County’s most prestigious resorts have received a Forbes Five-Star award.

Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa (for its fourth consecutive year) and Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach are the two properties that received a five-star rating. The Breakers Palm Beach received a four-star rating, and Boca Raton Resort and Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort was a recommended property. Forbes Travel Guide’s 61st annual list and ratings recognized the world’s most luxurious and legendary hotels, restaurants and spas.

The ratings take graciousness, thoughtfulness and personalized service into consideration, with 75 percent of a hotel’s score being based on its quality of service. Twenty-five percent of the score is determined by the quality of its facilities.

A five-star rating signifies outstanding resorts with nearly flawless service and incredible facilities. Many five-star resorts are often considered iconic by the award, meaning only the best of the best properties are chosen to receive five stars.

“Each year, our talented team of hoteliers at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa go above and beyond to provide impeccable service and create memorable moments for our guests,” Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa general manager Mark Klein said in a press release. “It is with great honor that we once again accept the Forbes Five-Star award. We look forward to exceeding our guest expectations in 2019 and for many more years ahead.”
