You don’t need the luck of the Irish to have a stellar St. Patrick’s Day. From Fort Lauderdale to West Palm Beach, St. Patty’s Day events seem to be around every corner.

 

Whether you’re trying to find the pot o’ gold under the rainbow or be surrounded by copious amounts of green beer and Irish Car Bombs, here are eight lucky St. Patrick’s Day events in South Florida.

 

1. Duffy’s Sports Grill

Duffy’s Sports Grill on Clematis Street is sticking to a tried-and-true approach to St. Patrick’s Day: corned beef with cabbage and beer. Save up your gold coins and head to the sports eatery for $4 Guinness drafts and $5 Jameson shots. If you can’t make it out on St. Patty’s Day, don’t worry; the event will take place all weekend long, starting Friday, March 15.

2. Big City Tavern

If an Irish feast is what you seek, look no further than Big City Tavern. The Las Olas eatery will be serving up classic Irish fare on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17. The free event brings thousands of St. Patty’s Day enthusiasts to the 954. Embrace all things Irish at the festival from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., which includes the Leprechaun Leap Family Run, live music, a kids zone, exciting activities and Irish cuisine. From noon to 1:30 p.m., watch fun floats, marching bands and pipe and drum corps at the parade.

8. O’Shea’s Irish Pub

If a St. Patrick’s Day bash for the family is what you seek, O’Shea’s Irish Pub in West Palm Beach has you covered with its free Weekend Street Festival from March 15-17. Activities kick off Friday evening with Guinness glass engraving, and continues for the following two days with street vendors, live Irish music, bagpipers, performances by the Aranmore School of Dance and a special kids zone, all on top of drink specials and a food menu with shepherd’s pie, corned beef and cabbage, and bangers and mash.

Kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend on Friday, March 15 at American Social.
