Bluewater Babes To Host Second Annual “Swing Fore A Cure” Golf Tournament

877

Bluewater Babes Charitable Trust (BWB) will be hosting its second annual “Swing Fore a Cure” charity golfing event on Saturday, April 6 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens.

The event aims to support local women in financial need who are fighting ovarian or breast cancer. Funds raised through the tournament will directly benefit BWB’s “Out of the Blue” financial assistance fund. The event will begin with lunch at noon, and the shotgun start will start at 1 p.m.

From a decorated golf cart parade to lunch catered by food trucks to various contests, the hands-on event’s fun activities aims to spread awareness of the impacts ovarian and breast cancer have on women.

BWB strives to help women suffering from ovarian and breast cancers focus less on the financial stress of treatment and concentrate on healing and survivorship.

The inaugural event in May 2018 raised $30,000 with more than 80 participating golfers.

Tickets start at $250 per golfer, or $1,000 per team of four. To learn more, or to buy tickets, visit bluewaterbabes.org.
