House calls are back—for your pet, at least.
A new medical concierge service, fetchmyvet.com, has recently launched in Broward County and Palm Beach County, offering at-home veterinary services.
Fetch My Vet allows pet parents to avoid traveling to the animal clinic, as licensed veterinarians will meet customers where they are. Another perk is the one-on-one with the veterinarian, as opposed to traditional animal clinics where there is little time to engage with the pet owners.
The average Fetch My Vet appointment lasts 45 minutes, and each veterinarian is assisted by an experienced veterinary technician.
Fetch My Vet provides basic services like examinations, vaccinations and medications. It also writes travel certificates, provides microchipping, nail clipping, anal gland treatments and other non-invasive procedures.
Animals served include dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and other mammals such as rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs and hedgehogs.
