Twenty-five years ago, second-generation Italian Americans Jerry Somma and Bill Fagnano sat down over coffee with an idea: create a celebration that felt a little like an Italian piazza, filled with family, food, music, and tradition. That idea became the Galbani Feast of Little Italy, returning to Downtown Abacoa November 6–8 for its silver anniversary.

This year’s free, three-day celebration goes big, with pasta, pizza, sausage and peppers, zeppole, cannoli, gelato, and plenty more, plus the Moretti Beer Garden and Spritz Del Conte Wine & Spritz Bar. Frank Stallone & The Paul Vesco Band headline Saturday’s entertainment, while a full weekend lineup includes live music, dance performances and Italian crooners.
At the Galbani La Cucina Cooking Stage, chefs and special guests—including The Sopranos actor Joe Gannascoli—will dish out demos, tips and Italian-inspired favorites. Kids can hit the rides, games, and Ferris wheel, while grown-ups can cheer on pizza-eating and celebrity cheese-stacking contests.
And because one record-breaking cannoli apparently wasn’t enough, organizers will attempt another world record Saturday—this time for the most people pulling string cheese simultaneously.
