Dave McGovern, the festival’s director, moved to the United States from Dublin in 2001.  “You see folks, I love this country, and I am always so grateful for everything it has given me in return, but my heart has also never left Ireland. I have wanted to do this for years, and decided that March 13, St. Patrick’s weekend, is the best time to celebrate the Irish culture and heritage. I will do my best to bring Ireland to Jupiter, Florida in a way people have not seen before. I look forward to seeing everyone there and having the Craic.” said McGovern.
