If you think you have already scoped out the best place in town to take in views of Jupiter’s inlet and lighthouse, think again. There’s a new spot worth venturing to that mixes fun with flavor, and the minds behind the new world-class dining location are just as impressive as the stunning scenes.
1000 NORTH, the highly anticipated restaurant and dining club in Jupiter, opened its doors to locals in February, but the concept has been a long time in the making. It was 2015 when developer Ira Fenton and former New York Giant Ivan Charles “Tucker” Frederickson thought up the idea to bring something “uniquely different” to the people of Palm Beach County. “It’s a unique blend of private club, upscale public dining, casual pub and an elegant, outdoor terrace,” Fenton says. “There’s something here for everyone.”
With the help of friends and influencers, Fenton and Frederickson developed a group of founding partners with high-profile names such as Ernie Els, Michael Jordan and Bill Terlato. 1000 NORTH has since brought everyone from socialites, to professional athletes, to celebrities together to indulge in modern-American regional cuisine.

What makes 1000 NORTH one of the most sought-after dining destinations just might be how expansive the space is to explore and dine in. “Wherever our guests sit, we want it to be unforgettable,” Frederickson says. “Regardless of why they’re here, we want them to experience the finest in food, service and ambiance, so they’ll leave thinking about their next visit.”
The first floor houses a full bar and The Tavern, the main dining room featuring rich wooden accents and an open kitchen. The Terrace awaits outside with beach-chic seating plus another bar. And last is the exclusive Club Lounge that sits on the second floor. Concierge services and a chef’s table on the main floor, plus docking privileges, are a few specialty offerings members can experience.
Dinner Service
Epicures will enjoy palate-pleasing dishes with a modern-American take. Executive chef Lee Morris crafted a Southern and coastal-influenced menu from his time in Nashville and Charleston.
Crudo offerings include Bigeye Tuna Poke piled high with avocado, macadamia nuts and chili vinaigrette, or small plates like the “Street Corn” Caesar Salad with bites of cotija cheese, cornbread crumbles and charred corn relish.
Other must-trys range from the yellow edge grouper with squash confit and a strawberry sauce vierge, to dijon-crusted prime rib, and, of course, a selection of USDA Prime steaks aged a minimum of 21 days that pair perfectly with mac and cheese “a la carbonara” and truffle salt fries.
The bananas foster bubble waffle sundae for dessert won’t disappoint, served with Hawaiian rum sauce and a decadent ice cream trio.
