Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta will unveil its “Annual Faculty & Community Exhibition,” on view December 4–13. The exhibition opens with a festive reception on December 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. Admission is free for members and a $5 suggested donation for non-members.

This annual showcase features recent work by Lighthouse ArtCenter’s faculty across a variety of media, including painting, ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media. Visitors will meet instructors, explore class offerings, and gain inspiration from working artists.

Complementing the faculty show is the “Community Exhibition,” which is open to all. Lighthouse ArtCenter invites the community to pick up a free 12×12-inch canvas and create an original piece to be displayed anonymously in the show. Completed canvases must be returned to LAC by December 1 to be included in the exhibition. Each work will be available for purchase for $200, with proceeds split 50/50 between the artist and the ArtCenter’s mission-driven programs.

On December 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., head to the Community Holiday Sale, where local artists sell artwork, jewelry, ceramics, and gifts. Participation is open to all, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Return on December 11 for a new interactive fundraiser: 12×12: Take a Chance. This lively event features a curated selection of outstanding artworks from the 12×12 Community Exhibition. Guests purchase one of twelve numbered slots for $50 on the piece they love. When all slots are filled, two dice are rolled—the matching number wins the artwork.
