A trusted convener, advocate, and champion for the community, Danita R. DeHaney is committed to helping people give where they live.
As president and CEO of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, she is leading one of the region’s most influential philanthropic organizations through a period of transformational growth and impact.
In the past four years alone, the organization has distributed more than $100 million in grants and scholarships, changing the trajectory for local Floridians—and their families.
Under her leadership, the Community Foundation supported some of North Palm Beach County’s most pressing challenges: early literacy, hunger, animal welfare, access to quality health care, and more.
In recognition of this work, the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce honored the Community Foundation with its Nonprofit of the Year Award last spring.
