4 Summer Cocktails to Make at Home

Enjoy these seasonal 1000 North cocktails at the Jupiter waterfront restaurant

A new collection of refreshing summer cocktails is making a splash at 1000 North. The seasonal lineup of handcrafted cocktails are available to enjoy through October, and are available on the restaurant’s regular cocktail menu and during summer social hours, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

For guests feeling inspired to give these sips a try a home, read on for the four refreshing recipes:

Tropical Spritz

  • 2 oz. Aperol
  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup
  • 0.5 oz. pineapple juice
  • 3 basil leaves
  • 3 strawberries

Muddle three strawberries and add three basil leaves. Pour Aperol, pineapple juice, and simple syrup on top of the muddled fruit, then hard shake. Double strain into a wine glass and add ice. Top with Prosecco. Smack basil to awaken oils and place a sprig of basil on top to garnish.

Berry Treasure

  • 1.5 oz. Plymouth Gin
  • 0.5 oz. blueberry syrup
  • 0.5 oz. lime juice
  • 0.5 oz. St-Germain
  • 3 mint leaves

Add three mint leaves to the bottom of the shaker tin. Pour in gin, blueberry syrup, lime juice, and St-Germain, then hard shake. Strain into a Collins glass, then add a Collins cube. Top with soda. Smack mint to awaken oils, then add a sprig of mint and three blueberries to garnish.

Brief Description: Plymouth gin, blueberry, lime, St-Germain, mint

Garnish: Mint sprig and 3 blueberries

Rind Me Up

  • 2.5 oz. Tito’s vodka
  • 1.5 oz. watermelon syrup
  • 0.75 oz. lemon juice
  • 2 muddled cucumber slices

Muddle two cucumber slices. Add lemon juice, watermelon syrup, and vodka. Hard shake and double strain into a martini glass. Sprinkle salt on top of a watermelon slice and place on the rim of the martini glass to garnish.

Brief Description: Wheatley vodka, watermelon, cucumber, lemon

Garnish: Watermelon slice with salt

Coral Cove

  • 1 oz. vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz. orange vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz. Hangar One Mandarin Vodka
  • 1 oz. orange juice
  • .75 oz. vanilla simple syrup
  • 1 bar spoon of Coco Lopez
  • 3 dashes of orange bitters
  • 1 bar spoon of aquafaba powder 

Pour vanilla vodka, orange vanilla vodka, Hangar One Mandarin Vodka, orange juice, vanilla syrup, and add three dashes of orange bitters. Add a bar spoon of Coco Lopez and aquafaba. Dry shake to create a foam, then add ice and hard shake. Pour into a martini glass, and garnish with orange meringue in the middle of the martini.

Guests can sip and socialize to the backdrop of the sunset and waterfront views of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Social hour is offered in The Tavern bar and on The Terrace’s air-conditioned, alfresco bar. On Wednesdays, listen to live music playing in The Tavern between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
