The 2019 holiday season is right around the corner, which means colorful décor, twinkling lights, gifts galore and, of course, meeting the jolly old man with a long white beard.
Palm Beach County residents can experience all of this seasonal magic in their own backyard with The Gardens Mall’s holiday events from Friday, Nov. 15 through Tuesday, Dec. 24. We’ve rounded up every can’t-miss experience, from priceless photos with Santa to live festive music.
Santa’s Arrival
What better way to kick off the most anticipated time of year than with Saint Nick himself? On Nov. 15 at 6 p.m., enjoy a parade led by the Palm Beach Gardens High School Marching Band welcoming Santa Claus to The Gardens Mall. Indulge in hot cocoa from the chocolate bar; meet holiday characters; and participate in exciting activities and giveaways from various stores.
Photos with Santa
Starting Nov. 15, take a memorable photo with Santa in the Enchanted Garden from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., then during regular mall hours beginning Saturday, Nov. 16 through Dec. 24.
Kids’ Corner Holiday Shop
Let Santa’s helpers assist your little ones with their own gift shopping on the upper-level Nordstrom Court starting Nov. 15. After visiting Santa in the Enchanted Garden, each child will receive three coins to spend on presents from Santa’s golden bank. Donations through additionally purchased coins will benefit The Arc of Palm Beach County.
Pet Photos with Santa
Bring your fur baby to take photos with Santa on Sunday, Nov. 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 1 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. For reservations, call 561-775-7750 or visit the information desk. Holiday
Gift-Wrapping
Let The Gardens Mall save you from the annual stress of wrapping presents. From Friday, Nov. 29 through Dec. 24, enjoy complimentary gift-wrapping for all purchases ina unique holiday suite located in the upper level of the Nordstrom Court, as well as free cell phone charging; holiday movies; kid-friendly crafts; and more. All donations will benefit The Arc of Palm Beach County.
Salvation Army Angel Tree
The holiday season is all about giving to others. Starting Nov. 29, head to the lower level of the Sears Court during mall hours, and pick an angel from the Salvation Army Angel Tree to share holiday cheer with underprivileged children of Palm Beach County. Cash and toy donations will also be accepted to benefit the children.
Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s Shop & Share and Performances
You don’t want to miss the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s Conservatory’s holiday entertainment in the Grand Court on Saturday, Dec. 14. Performance times are 10:30 a.m., 11:30a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The Gardens Mall will also donate 5 percent of same-day sales logged at the information desk to the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.
30th Annual Musicthon
Few things get everyone into the festive spirit quite like holiday songs. On Saturday, Dec. 21 at 10 a.m., enjoy a holiday musical extravaganza by the Palm Beach Music Teachers Association in the Nordstrom Court with special performances by the Palm Beach County Schools Music Programs. All Musicthon proceeds will benefit CampVITAS of VITAS Hospice.
