As if you need another reason to drop by Loggerhead Marinelife Center—apart from the precious sea life, sea turtle research, rehabilitation, education, and conservation—the gift shop has now doubled in size, offering more luxury, sustainable goods that support sea turtle and ocean protection. Whether shopping online or inside the bright, airy shop, be sure to check out the items with special colored labels, which represent the Choice Matters program. Blue indicates the product was made in the United States (including Amber & Moss mini soy candles and blue and pink sea turtle absorbent coasters); green items represent reduced waste or products made with reusable, recyclable, repurposed, and compostable materials (such as boho tea towels); and orange labels indicate responsibly sourced items that support fair trade, help employ underdeveloped communities, or donate to specific causes (the ShanOre ocean jewelry, for example).
