Local restaurants 1000 North in Jupiter and Prezzo in Palm Beach Gardens will commemorate World Autism Month this April with dining initiatives and events to benefit the Els for Autism Foundation. Established by Ernie Els, Liezl Els, and Marvin R. Shanken in 2009, the foundation aims to transform the lives of people with autism spectrum disorder through early intervention, education, recreation, and adult services.

Indulge in Brunch. Bubbles. Beats., featuring DJ Adam Lipson, on April 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The brunch event will include one entrée, one side, bottomless drinks, and a seafood bar. In celebration of National Autism Acceptance Month, the event will showcase a Cosmic Blue cocktail created with vodka, white cranberry juice, and Blue Curaçao liqueur.

Head to Prezzo to dine in support of its fundraising effort, happening now through April 14. Prezzo’s owner/operators, husband-and-wife restaurateurs Eddie and Chrsitina Pozzuoli, will donate 10 percent of all food sales to Els for Autism, as well as 100 percent of sales of its special Prezzo Hard Tea cocktail ($10), crafted with Deep Eddy Sweet Tea vodka, lemonade, simple syrup, and freshly muddled raspberries.
