Crafting for Conservation: Cyanotype Canvas Bag

Create a cyanotype canvas tote using the power of sunlight to make beautiful blue-and-white botanical prints with leaves, flowers, and other natural objects on August 30, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Cyanotype is an art form that uses sunlight to create beautiful blue and white prints. Simply place natural objects like leaves or flowers on your tote, let the sun work its magic, and watch your design appear.
Canvas tote bag, cyanotype dye, foliage, and nature themed cut-outs will be provided. Guests may feel free to bring objects from home. While artwork dries, join the sanctuary for a Conservation Conversation education program in the shaded amphitheater at 11:30 a.m. Registration is $20 and can be done here.

American Sign Language (ASL) Family Day
