Cathleen Scott, board-certified in labor and employment law, is the managing partner of Scott Wagner and Associates, P.A., a Jupiter-based firm practicing nationwide, specializing in employment litigation. The firm represents clients in the areas of employment, health care, and entertainment law.
Scott is a lifelong Florida resident who grew up in Juno Beach. She and her husband, an emergency room physician, are both graduates of Palm Beach Gardens High School. They live in Jupiter, where they raised two children, both professional musicians.
The firm handles entertainment issues such as copyright infringement, song licensing, contract review, and protection of intellectual property.
Scott received a B.A. degree from Stetson University in 1993 and her J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles in 1997. Scott holds a black belt in tae kwon do. She serves as president of the Jupiter Jazz society, a nonprofit organization. She actively lectures on employment and entertainment topics and is the former chair of the Florida Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Section
