Downtown Palm Beach Gardens will invite the community to “Load the Lockers” with school supplies for the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County beginning Monday, August 17. The foundation facilitates student achievement by supporting high-quality public education through partnerships, grants, events, and public awareness.
The supply drive’s three lockers will installed be located between Pineapple Kids and Vagabond Apparel. Supplies like fabric face masks, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, earbuds, screen wipes, mechanical pencils, colored pencils, markers, folders, spiral notebooks, backpacks, organizers, power strips/surge protectors, art supplies, bags of coffee, USB power adapters, USB memory sticks, loose leaf paper, colored paper, and retail gift cards.
“We know that children academically thrive when they have all the tools, resources, and support they need,” said Teresa Dabrowski, chief engagement officer for the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County. “We are thankful to Downtown Palm Beach Gardens for hosting this supply drive that will help so many students in Palm Beach County put their best foot forward this coming school year.”
