Tampa General Hospital (TGH) invites the community to a free public event, “Spot It Early: Is Your Skin Telling You Something?”, an educational session about the signs of skin cancer, protecting the skin, and diagnostic and treatment options. The event will take place at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach on August 25, from 4 to 6 p.m.
A Q&A panel will feature physicians affiliated with Tampa General, including those with offices in Palm Beach County:
- Dr. Sanjay Awasthi, Medical Oncologist, TGH Cancer Institute
- Dr. X. Scott Chen, Radiation Oncologist, TGH Cancer Institute
- Dr. Kimmerle “KC” Cohen, Surgical Oncologist, TGH Cancer Institute
- Dr. C. Nicole Hawkins, Dermatologist, USF Health Morsani College of Medicine
