When was the practice established?
Motion Orthopaedic and Podiatry Institute was established in 2024. The founding fathers, Drs. Cedeno and Buzas established the practice after crossing paths at a business meeting. They had similar visionary ideas of how to improve the health of their respective communities, and therefore they created the practice. The goal of Motion Orthopaedic and Podiatry Institute is to provide comprehensive orthopaedic and podiatric care by incorporating the top experts in a multidisciplinary approach.
What experiences have led doctors to become experts in the field?
Dr. Buzas worked with mentors who were at the forefront of new technology and surgery, and he has performed minimally invasive arthroscopic as well as robotically assisted surgery. Dr. Buzas saw the need for a holistic approach to orthopaedic care and has incorporated regenerative medicine (stem cells and platelet rich plasma) into his practice.
Drs. Cedeno and Merritt have been at the forefront of podiatric care, and have been performing minimally invasive surgeries, managing wounds, medical and cosmetic treatment of venous conditions, and custom designed orthotics. There are decades of combined experience in providing innovative and personalized care, with excellent outcomes for all the doctors that make up the Institute.
