Vote For Field Of Beers In USA Today’s List Of Best Beer Festivals In The Nation

701

Local beer aficionados, rejoice! A Jupiter event is in the running for recognition as one of the best beer festivals out there.

Field of Beers was recently selected as one of the finalists in USA Today’s 10 Best readers’ choice survey for best beer festivals in the nation. Chosen by a panel of beer experts, the 20 festivals on the shortlist include events in major cities like Chicago, Boston and Denver.

Readers can now vote for which they’d consider the best of the best. Voting closes Feb. 29.

Field of Beers was standing strong in the No. 2 slot on Thursday afternoon.

For Field of Beers founder Fran Andrewlevich, the hope is the nod will give the annual Jupiter festival exposure for a job well done.

“A lot of love goes into the event, so it would be nice to [be recognized],” he said.

Field of Beers, the pre-event to the Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival, is kept relatively small, with only 500 tickets available.

“It’s part of the quaintness, if you will,” Andrewlevich said.

It’s held at Roger Dean Stadium, where the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins host spring training.

As the USA Today description states:

Some of the best craft brewers in America are partnered with renowned Palm Beach chefs to create unforgettable beer and food pairings. The brewers are on hand to discuss their beers as the chefs reveal their process for creating the complementary dishes. It’s a one-of-a-kind event that offers the opportunity to sample great beer and food while learning more directly from the source.

Tickets to the event—which this year saw breweries from Florida, California and Pennsylvania—usually sell out within 10 minutes.

For those who may not be familiar with Field of Beers, Andrewlevich describes the event simply as a celebration with “the best food you can get, the best beer you can get.”
